Starting all this a little late...

Let me start by saying, I know I am starting this whole "blogging" thing a little bit late in the game. I realize that by now I should have a steady blog, linked to my twitter, overflowing onto my Facebook. I mean, half the people I know have already moved on from this old fashioned way of blogging to video blogs. Some of my favorite times of the day is reading the blogs that I am currently following, some famous, some just everyday people, that I'm pretty sure if they knew I followed them so closely would be a little bit weirded out. I mostly like to follow pastors wives of all different sorts, its comforting to me to read the everyday ups and downs that they go have, and I know I'm not alone in the daily things I go through. Which makes me excited about sharing my little portion of life. So here we are.
I want to use my blog to document Sam and I as parents to be, me as a mommy to be, my pregnancy, after that our new life as parents, our growth and struggles as ministers, devotions that really stick with me, thoughts I find interesting and our day to day life lessons that we go through as a typical Anderson family.
So here's some background. Currently we are living in Cleveland, GA. Cleveland is located in the Northeast Georgia mountains, and is a pretty small town compared to the size of town that we are use to. We are a town of about 2500. Sam is the Student Ministries pastor at The Bridge Church (www.thebridgeonline.cc). I am a Resident Director in a dorm at a college here in Cleveland, which means, Sam, me and his sister Jax all live in an apartment in a dorm, on a college campus. I also work at the Chamber of Commerce for our county. I'm not exactly sure what the future holds for me and my job..and I'll let you why..
I am 32 weeks pregnant! I almost wish I had started blogging on day 1 so I could go back and look at the amazing journey of being pregnant, and oh has it been a journey! We are having an amazing little boy (and yes, I do already know he is amazing) and we are naming him Jude. No, no middle name yet, trust me I'm sure you'll hear more about the daily struggle of the dreaded middle name. I'm almost positive we've got it narrowed down to two, Xander and Liam..but that could always change (and has quite frequently). We recently got 3D ultrasound to see baby Jude, which I will post pictures of below. Doesn't look like me at all. Just like his daddy.
We did not plan this pregnancy, granted didn't exactly prevent it, I'm secretly convinced that we were both hoping it would happen :). Sam and I have been married for over a year now (May 10, 2008) so along with the day to day adventure of being newlyweds, we are also becoming new parents. Fun stuff!
I have to stop now, 1- because it is 1:00 am and my husband just announced that he is going to bed, and 2- My first blog is extremely too long and I don't want to scare you off.
Here goes!
Ps- I like this expression :) alot. Get use to it.
